Services we provide

We treat the individual, not just the injury.

These services are typically offered by our licensed therapist who works with individuals of all ages and backgrounds to help them achieve optimal physical function and mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life. Physical therapy services may also include patient education, home exercise programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers.

Deep & Soft Tissue Massage

Tissue massage is a type of massage therapy designed to target deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The massage therapist uses slow, firm pressure and deeper strokes to release tension and knots in the muscles.

Sports
Massage

Sports massage is a type of therapeutic massage that is geared towards athletes and people with active lifestyles. It focuses on the specific muscles and areas of the body that experience stress and tension due to physical activity.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is a type of massage therapy that targets “knots” or “trigger points” in muscles that cause pain and discomfort. The therapist will apply pressure to these areas to release tension and increase circulation.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique used by physical therapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to alleviate pain and muscle tension. It involves inserting thin needles into trigger points, or areas of knotted or tight muscles, to stimulate the body’s natural healing response.

Cupping

Cupping is often used to treat pain, inflammation and stress. It is a versatile therapy performed by a trained practitioner that benefits overall health and effectively
helps to address localised and systemic complaints.

Joint Mobilisation

Typically performed by a trained Myotherapist. This therapy can be
beneficial for conditions such as arthritis, joint sprains, and limited mobility.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a type of physical therapy that targets the fascia, a connective tissue that covers muscles and other structures in the body. This therapy involves applying pressure to the fascia in a specific way to release tension and restore mobility.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF Stretching)

A type of stretching technique that is commonly used in rehabilitation settings. PNF stretching involves a combination of contracting and relaxing muscles to increase flexibility and range of motion.

Exercise Prescription

Exercise prescription refers to the specific plan of fitness-related activities designed to improve mobility and strength. These are often developed by a fitness or rehabilitation specialist for the client or patient.
